I have watched this all grow for the past 19 years from Stage 5 at Walnut Valley Festival, where I met most of them, and watching this trailer, I have so much confidence in the inevitability of national acceptance as the europeans have already embraced.
I will add that these featured in this film have been ( and still do ) come to the aide of friends, family and people they have never met to assist in the giving of their time and music to benefit where it is needed most. My hat is off to you for meeting the challenge to educate the masses, and to them for the recognition they all well deserve.

Loved the trailer. But, man you’re a tease. When are we going to get to see this thing. And please book a bunch of dates in Tulsa, because I’m sure you’ll sell it out again and again.

I heard Stella made the film, I’m the proudest dad in the world. She’s actually taking piano lessons from a terrific teacher and taking violin in school. And she’s kickin’ ass. Watch out Crouch and Frisco!!!! I think that night at Monica’s house really influenced her to love music. I can’t thank you and all the other musicians around here enough for that. Long live Red Dirt and the Tulsa Sound!!!!

    • Lata says:

Andy. Great to hear from you man! Yep there is a scene with Stella sitting at Monica’s piano and you teaching her a scale. We used it to reference the fact that young people in the scene are surrounded by great music from a very young age. I think you will love it. See you soon man! Tom told me I would be their guest at Science sometime in May so, hope to see you there.

    • Lata says:

John, thanks for your support. What you guys do is the truly inspiring thing. I just want to make it more accessible in a world that’s lost track of its own roots. That’s what matters here, to show people that there is another way.
